How to Use Your Novora
Get the most out of your Novora Smart Cupping Massager with these simple steps and routine ideas.
Getting started
- Charge fully before your first use (about 2 hours via the included USB-C cable).
- Clean the cup rim with a damp cloth.
- Apply a thin layer of lotion or oil to the area you'll treat — this helps the device glide smoothly.
- Press the power button to turn on. Use the mode and intensity buttons to choose your settings.
For sore muscles
Start at suction level 3–4 with heat on. Glide along the muscle in slow, sweeping passes. Pause for 10–20 seconds on tight spots. 5 minutes per area, 3–5 times per week.
For cellulite & skin texture
Use medium suction with heat. Focus on thighs, hips, and glutes with longer passes (8–10 minutes per session). Consistency matters more than intensity — daily short sessions beat one long weekly session.
For neck & shoulders
Use lower suction (level 1–2) and shorter sessions (3–5 minutes). Avoid the front of the neck, throat, and lymph nodes.
For back pain
Apply along the muscles parallel to the spine — NOT directly on the vertebrae. Heat plus medium suction works best for relief.
For feet & arches
For plantar fasciitis or tired feet, glide along the arch for 5 minutes a day. The heat setting helps soften the fascia.
After your session
- Drink water to help flush waste from the lymphatic system.
- Stay warm; light circular marks fade within 24–48 hours.
- Avoid intense workouts for an hour after a deep session.
Cleaning
Wipe the cup rim with a damp cloth after each use. Never submerge the device in water. A drop of mild soap is fine for the silicone rim.
Troubleshooting
- Weak suction? Apply more lotion or oil to your skin.
- Won't turn on? Plug it in for at least 5 minutes — deeply discharged batteries need time to wake up.
- Skin too sensitive? Drop the suction level and try shorter sessions.
