FAQ — Novora SilkPulse™

The device

How does IPL actually work?

Gentle pulses of light are absorbed by the pigment in the hair root. This slows regrowth cycle after cycle until hair mostly stops growing back. It's the same technology used in salons — sized for home use.

Does it hurt?

Most users describe a warm flick — nothing like a wax rip. Start at level 1–3 and work upward; 9 intensity levels let you stay fully in control.

How long does the device last?

990,000 flashes — enough for full-body sessions for 20+ years. No refills or cartridges, ever. Plus a 2-year warranty.

Results

When will I see results?

Typical timeline with 3 sessions per week: weeks 1–3 — slower, softer regrowth. Weeks 4–8 — visibly less hair, patchy bare areas. Weeks 8–12 — smooth as your default, maintained with one quick session a week.

Will it work for me?

IPL works best on light-to-medium skin tones with dark hair. It is not effective on blonde, red, or grey hair and not suitable for very dark skin tones — the light needs contrast between skin and hair pigment to target the root safely. Check the compatibility chart on the product page before ordering.

Which body areas can I treat?

Legs, underarms, arms, bikini line, stomach, back, and facial hair below the cheekbones. Always wear the included protective glasses.

Orders & guarantees

How fast is shipping?

Free tracked shipping from our US warehouse — typically 5–9 days to your door.

What's the guarantee?

90 days. If your skin isn't visibly smoother, contact us for a full refund — no interrogation, no hoops. The device is separately covered by a 2-year warranty for any defect.

Is it safe?

The device only flashes when in full contact with skin (built-in sensor), and protective glasses are included in every box. Do not use on tattoos, moles, or sunburned skin. If you are pregnant, nursing, or have a photosensitive condition, consult your doctor first.
